First project: tracking my entertainment (primarily books). I'm going to get a new Traveler's cover for it. Maybe I'm supposed to call it a case. Anyway. I am thinking of trying the pauper press "Voyager" system. I have the Dylusion and the Midori Passport cover. So I plan to have 5 notebooks. One for the reading log. One for the watching log and other media. Then one for wish list and ordering. And the last one for miscellaneous categories. I'll probably have to work with the notebooks till I am firm in the categories.

Second project: I have been thinking of making an index of old diaries and bullet journals. I got the pauper press grid celestial notebook. The plan is to start with the most recent one and work my way backwards. I will be tracking events, patterns, happy wins and bad things that probably got resolved. I may also track social changes. Should be interesting.

In the new year, I will still use a traveler's notebook agenda and my version of a bullet journal. Right now I have a notebook for my writing and a notebook for my crawling-out-of-the-hole makeover.

I have been struggling with health issues this year but I am doing better and there may be an end in sight.

Because of that, I haven't actually done any writing. Just planning and daydreaming really. The makeover is happening but slowly. I got my car fixed and I have replaced the wardrobe that didn't fit me. There is a lot more to go but that is where the notebook will be useful.

I have a diary. I may return to Julia Cameron's morning pages. While I don't think it was ever magical for me, I did record more. And keeping a record of what happened and how I felt or thought about it is really important to me.

I have been thinking of getting a second traveler's notebook for a podcast, a show and a book log. I can also add stuff I want to watch or read. And maybe a wish list for my books. I also need to do a proper inventory of my library.

So, I think I may finally have everything covered that I want to track or plan or save in words.

Here's a quick history.

I started writing a diary when I was 11. And, except for 4 years in college, I kept it. In 2017, 5 years ago, I started trying out a bullet journal. I tried everything everyone suggested. It didn't really work until I discovered traveler's notebooks. Now I have an agenda, a bullet journal and two ideas/project notebooks. It works great.

I tried to incorporate my diary into my bujo but neither mixed well. The bullet journal is quantitative and goal based. My diary is more qualitative. So, they had to be separated.

I am trying to go back and add a little structure to my diary. But it's difficult. Like a cat made of smoke.
