Thanksgiving and Renewed Interests
Nov. 26th, 2022 10:06 pmThanksgiving - been visited with family, eating a lot and watching lots of shows.
1. Family came from Illinois and local family collected. We've just been making old jokes and having fun. All of us have not had enough sleep and all but two have gone off for naps.
2. Food: succotash, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pink stuff, the best homemade relish, chocolates, fruit, apple cider, unsweetened tea, turkey, rolls, cinnamon buns, and coffee.
3. It Happened on 5th Avenues, Hip Hop Nutcracker (we watched a lot of the individual dancers afterwards), Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Addams Family Values, Santa Clause (all), 1990s Iron Man, 1990s Silver Surfer, 1990s Fantastic Four, 2006 Fantastic Four (aka 2000Sexy). And this weird Chip and Dale show.
Watching the MCU in chronological order and then watching these cartoons, I'm really wanting to go back and read a bunch of the comics. Maybe subscribe to comixology if I can afford it. We'll see what my finances are like in the new year. Probably not good.
